  25. A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Of course, I’d heard about knots and knotting. Everyone had. I’d never paid much attention to the matter. It had never seemed relevant to me, as it only happened to alphas. I had no idea how to form a knot. I didn’t have the first clue where to start.

“Jules, I, uh, I don’t know how . . .”

“Sure you do. Your body knows how.” His voice dripped with sex and certainty. “Your wolf does, too.”

I meant what I said. Everything I had was his. Everything. I wanted it that way. I wanted to give him everything he wanted. I wanted that more than I wanted anything for myself. It was all I could think of. I tried to concentrate on my dick. I asked it politely to knot and when that didn’t work, I asked it impolitely. I closed my eyes and used all my energy to try to push my intention to that part of my body. Nothing happened. Not a single thing.

“I’m sorry, Jules. I can’t do it.”

He twisted and looked back at me again. “You’re Sully goddamn Cleary. There’s nothing you can’t do.” His eyes were dark and set. He gave me a long look. It was the sort of look you usually see in the eyes of an animal. A wild animal. An animal that’s never seen the inside of a cage. “Give it to me,” he whispered into my ear. “Give me your knot. Fill me and fuck me and knot me until I can’t walk. Do it.”

I started shaking. Not just my hands. My thighs, my arms and my lungs. I swayed. I felt dizzy. Blood rushed to my cock. It started swelling in a way that was unbelievable.

Unreal.

Magick.

“Fuuuuck,” wheezed Jules. “Yes. Oh, God, yes. That’s what I want. That’s what I need. Don’t stop. Knot me. Knot me, Sully. Knot me until the sun comes up in the morning. Don’t pull out and don’t stop until neither of us can move.”

Hearing Jules beg for my knot was a very special brand of pleasure. Pleasure that felt damn close to pain. It spoke to my soul. It spoke to an old part of my brain I’d never used before. The words landed and dissipated. They broke me open. They undid former versions of me, untying them until it was like they’d never existed. They folded under and over and through each other and then they pulled tight. They gave rise to something new.

An alpha.
