- About the Author
“Mistress,” Ruby whispered. “Yes. Yes…”
Yvonne kept her on edge, watching Ruby grow increasingly frantic. Her cuffed hands grasped at the air behind her back and her thighs quivered and shook. As wordless pleas began to spill from Ruby’s lips, Yvonne decided to give her the sweet release she was begging for.
Yvonne raised her free hand above Ruby’s ass cheeks. All it took were a few short, sharp spanks with her palm, and Ruby cried out, her body trembling as an orgasm took her. Yvonne continued inside her, feeling the other woman’s walls gripping her, until at last, Ruby fell silent and still.
Yvonne freed Ruby from the handcuffs and drew her into her arms, assailing her with a hot, hard kiss. Ruby melted into her, her lips soft and needy, her hands clinging limply at Yvonne’s waist and shoulders.
After a moment, Ruby pulled back. “I don’t want to stop,” she murmured. “But I need to catch my breath before I pass out.”
Yvonne chuckled. “All right. Come here.”
Yvonne gathered Ruby into her arms again and settled back against the pillows. Ruby seemed a world away, and Yvonne was right there with her. The high she got from holding Ruby close, feeling the contentment radiating from her, was far better than the high she got from Ruby’s submission.
Her wife’s happiness, her pleasure, was far more satisfying than anything else in the world.
Epilogue
Ruby watched trees whiz by, the cool breeze whipping around her as the convertible sped down the road, the scent of the sea filling the air. She and Yvonne had been driving for what felt like hours, the city long behind them.
She looked over to Yvonne in the driver’s seat. “Are you going to tell me where we’re going?”
Yvonne smiled, but she didn’t take her eyes off the road. “We’re almost there.”
Ruby sat back and crossed her arms. What was Yvonne’s surprise? Yvonne had a good reason to do something grand. It had been a year since that night they’d gotten married in Vegas. Ruby had been counting down the days. She was feeling anxious about it, but not in a bad way. There was no question of whether she and Yvonne would remain together, but without the marriage agreement binding them, their relationship would enter uncharted territory. Ruby was uncertain of what the future held for them.
But she was certain of how she felt about her wife.
Yvonne pulled the car into a long, winding driveway. The salty ocean scent grew stronger, the melodic chirping of seagulls filling the air. Soon, a house came into view, an enormous sprawling mansion, old, but well kept.
Yvonne parked the car outside the house and turned off the engine. “We’re here. Let’s go take a look.”
Ruby got out of the car and stared up at the house. “Where is here, exactly? What is this place?”
“This is our house,” Yvonne said. “Our vacation home, for when we want to escape it all, to get away from all the noise of the city.”
