I can’t resist, he left it open for me. “Well, maybe if you didn’t bulldoze down the hall in a straight line, I wouldn’t have to jump out of your way to avoid destruction.”

Aiden’s eyebrows draw together but the corners of his lips pull up. “What are you . . . ?”

I hold up the brand-new schedule, the exact same as my old one, but now with the name Thea Kennedy printed on the top. Excitement bubbles through me. I’m here, at this school, with Aiden and my friends, as me. Not hiding secrets. Not using a fake name. Not trying to solve a murder. Not trying to bring down a corrupt politician. Just two kids going to class. Two kids living their everyday, boring lives.

I never thought I’d see the day.

My life may never exactly be normal, and especially not boring, but if these last few months have taught me anything, it’s that I have people who love me, and together, we can face anything.

I peek up at him through my lashes. “Sorry. I’m Thea Kennedy and it’s my first official day here. You wouldn’t happen to know where room 341 is, would you?”

The End

Acknowledgments

Ending a series is always hard, but trying to write this acknowledgments page without forgetting everyone who’s helped make this series possible is even harder.

As always, the first people I want to thank are you, the readers. Thank you for picking up this series and joining Amelia and friends on their journey. I never thought I’d be a writer, but as I started writing for fun on Wattpad and you found my work and encouraged me, I started realizing that writing is something I could do. Thank you for following me on this journey, and if you never heard of me on Wattpad and picked up my books recently, thank you as well! I hope you loved the story as much as I loved writing it. I am forever grateful for your love and support.

Thank you to my amazing parents, Carmela and Bruno Cunsolo. I hid my writing from you for years until Mom found my book and “sneakily” started reading it (I totally knew, Mom, that’s why I came clean). It was and always will be petrifying to have your mom read your stories, but I know you’ll always support me. Thanks for staying up to 3 a.m. proofreading for me, encouraging me to keep writing, and introducing me to the love of stories when I was a kid. My dad’s not a big YA romance reader, so he’s never read my work (at least not that I know of), and please keep it that way (don’t read the kissing scenes!), but he’s never needed to know the details of the book to believe in me and tell all his friends. He brags about me all the time, and when people asked him if he’s read the book, he always replies “I’m waiting for the movie.” Now Sony Pictures Television is developing She’s With Me for television, and even without reading the book, my dad always knew it would happen. He believes in me wholeheartedly, and I’ll always be grateful. You’re the best parents ever.
