When I played Roman Catholic I never had to read anything and since the Catholics did not “Stand on the Word of God but on pitiful human tradition,” like Dad said, they never did Sword Drill or stood up and screamed the chorus to “The B-I-B-L-E” but instead knelt down quietly in their churches with the air all hazy and blue from incense. They didn’t know about the Five Points of Calvinism, the New Covenant and the Reformers like Zwingli, so they still used incense even though Jesus had said He “desired mercy not sacrifice,” so they were really sinning and not getting saved because they had not done what Zwingli, who Dad said was even more reformed than Calvin, had told them to. But this was not surprising because “They are Vessels of Wrath, not the Elect predestined to be saved.”

But the incense smelled good and the voice of the priest was all quiet and comfortable, and echoed.
