He held on to her waist, gripping so hard he might bruise her, while giving the quick but deep pace she needed. And then she was coming, his name a chant on her lips that triggered an orgasm so explosive he lost track of time and place. Damned if he didn’t feel like he’d blacked out for a minute, and when he came back to himself, he was still inside her, his body still joined with hers.

Their uneven breaths sounded loud in the room. Without warning, she released her arms and legs and collapsed, his dick sliding out of her, and she let out a low laugh.

He fell onto the mattress beside her, facing her. She grinned and he had no doubt he had a smile on his face as well.

“We’re wet,” she said, her voice husky. “And I don’t mean like that.”

He chuckled and forced himself to roll over and out of the bed to grab towels from the bathroom. He passed one to her, and while he dried off, she squeezed the water from her hair and patted down the rest of her body, too.

“Want to shower again?” she asked him.

“Depends. Was that it for the night?” Because having had her once, he wasn’t nearly finished. He slid his gaze over her naked body and watched as her nipples tightened in reaction. He hoped he could take that as a no.

She raised one delicate shoulder. “I’m up for more. Just one requirement.”

“What’s that?”

“A dry bed,” she said with the sexy smile he adored.

Leaning over, he picked her up once more, this time in a fireman hold. She squealed as one of his hands covered her ass, and he headed to his room, where they could continue what they’d started.

Sasha woke up, and though the bed was unfamiliar, the warm body wrapped around hers wasn’t. She closed her eyes and savored the moment with Xander. Last night had been hot and fun. They’d enjoyed each other, which she had to admit brought a new element to their old relationship. He’d been so serious when she’d known him last, and she understood that had been because he’d recently come home from Afghanistan and was still adjusting when he’d found success in his career.

The pressure on both of them in Los Angeles had been intense and their time together was passionate. She liked this newer lighter side of him she’d seen with his family and again last night. Meanwhile, her body ached, reminding her of how many orgasms she’d had and how late they’d finally fallen asleep.

Pushing at the back of her mind was the fact that tomorrow she returned to work, to a hotel, to the life that Xander wanted no part of. Ironic given his backstage presence on set, but she understood him well and knew what he needed to be at peace. Hollywood, travel, and red carpets weren’t it. She did not want to think about the future, not when there was still an entire day left before things between them had to change.
